Liberty Lake mouse calls pick up every fall. As the fields, the Saltese Flats and the hillsides around town cool off, mice look for the nearest warm garage or crawl space, and newer homes give them plenty of small ways in.
Much of Liberty Lake is newer construction, and homes on the edges of town back right up to open fields and hillsides where field mice and deer mice live. The usual entry points are garage door seals, weep holes, dryer vents and gaps where utility lines come into the house. Homes and cabins near the lake and the regional park also see deer mice coming in from the woods.
We walk the outside of your home and check the garage, attic and crawl space for droppings, chew marks and the gaps mice are using to get in.
We seal entry points with copper mesh and sealant. A mouse can squeeze through a gap about the size of a dime, and it chews right through plain expanding foam.
Traps go inside, and bait goes in locked, tamper-resistant stations outside, so kids and pets can't get to it.
We come back to check traps and stations and keep going until the activity stops.
Mouse control starts with a rodent initial service: $349 when you start any recurring plan, or $699 on its own. Recurring plans start at $41 a month, and our 365 Pest Free Guarantee means that if mice come back between visits, so do we, at no extra charge.
See Your PriceBrand-new homes still have small gaps, especially under garage doors and where pipes, wires and vents go through the walls. A mouse only needs a gap about the size of a dime. Homes that back onto fields or hillsides see the most, so sealing those gaps is the main fix.

They can be. Deer mice in the Inland Northwest can carry hantavirus, which spreads through their droppings and urine. Don't sweep or vacuum droppings. The CDC recommends wearing gloves, airing out the space for 30 minutes, soaking droppings with a bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water) for 5 minutes, then wiping them up with paper towels.
