How much does pest control cost in Spokane and North Idaho?

Crosstown offers three residential plans. All three require a 12-month service agreement and auto-pay, and all three carry our 365 Pest Free Guarantee.

• Home Basic — $41/month, $299 initial flush-out. Quarterly seasonal visits, four times a year, roughly every 90 days. Covers 20+ general pest species plus exterior rodent baiting.
• Home Pro — $55/month, $347 initial flush-out. Five visits a year, every ~60 days April through October with winter maintenance. Everything in Basic plus interior rodent trapping and fence line and yard bed service.
• Home & Yard+ — $85/month, $399 initial flush-out. Seven visits a year, monthly April through October. Everything in Pro plus full yard mosquito and tick control and an extended perimeter barrier.

Pricing is the same in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene, Liberty Lake, Hayden, and Rathdrum. If your property sits outside our regular route, we may add a small amount to cover drive time — and we will tell you that before you commit, not after.

Which plan do most homeowners pick?

Home Pro is the most popular plan. The step up from Basic buys two things that matter in this region: more frequent visits during the April-to-October stretch when ant and spider pressure peaks, and interior rodent trapping rather than exterior baiting alone. Homes with detached shops, older foundations, or a history of mice usually need the interior component.

Home Basic is the right fit for newer homes with no active problem. Home & Yard+ makes sense if you actually use your yard in summer and want mosquitoes and ticks handled.

Why is there an initial flush-out fee?

The initial visit costs more because it does more work. An established home usually has active nests, existing webbing, and egg masses that have to be knocked down before a maintenance barrier can hold. The flush-out clears that backlog. Every visit after it maintains a barrier already in place, which is why the ongoing cost drops to the monthly rate.

This is also why prevention is cheaper than eradication. Letting a carpenter ant colony run for two seasons costs far more to resolve than keeping it out in the first place.

How much does mouse and rodent removal cost?

A dedicated rodent job starts at $699 for the initial service, plus an ongoing service plan billed after the first visit. That initial covers weekly visits over three to four weeks — rodents are not a one-appointment problem — along with a full inspection, up to two large rodent stations, eight small stations, and eight Mini-Rex traps. We use professional bait and may seal entry points to prevent reinfestation.

Additional equipment beyond the standard setup runs $35 per large station, $7 per small station, and $5 per extra trap. Technicians may adjust pricing based on location and job complexity.

Note the difference between this and plan coverage: Home Basic includes exterior rodent baiting and Home Pro adds interior trapping, both as part of general service. The $699 initial is for an active infestation that needs dedicated work.

How much does mosquito and tick control cost?

The simplest route is Home & Yard+ at $85 per month, which builds mosquito and tick control into your regular service. If you are already a Crosstown customer, there are cheaper paths:

• Add-on to Home Pro: $10/month for monthly mosquito spraying on top of your existing plan
• Existing customer, monthly pay: $99 through the summer season
• Existing customer, prepay: $79 per month, paid in full for the remaining summer months
• Mosquito-only monthly plan: $125 per service
• One-time treatment, new customer: $299

Wasp traps are $10 each and standalone rodent stations are $35 each if you want extras placed.

What makes a pest control quote go up or down?

Four things move the number:

• Home size. More linear footage of foundation means more product and more time.
• Current pest activity. A home with an active infestation needs a heavier initial treatment than a preventative start.
• Pest type. Rodents, carpenter ants, and bed bugs take more work than general ant and spider service.
• Location. Inside our regular service area, you pay the price listed here. Outside it, drive time gets added.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. All three residential plans require a 12-month service agreement with auto-pay. That is how the monthly pricing stays where it is — the plans are built around year-round protection, not one-off visits, and the guarantee depends on us being on the property through a full pest cycle.

What happens if pests come back between services?

We come back at no extra charge. Every plan carries our 365 Pest Free Guarantee, meaning protection is year-round between scheduled visits. If activity resurfaces in the gap between services, that return visit is part of what you are already paying for — not an upsell.

Pricing by city

Rates are consistent across our service area, but pest pressure is not. Rathdrum Prairie homes deal with different problems than South Hill homes, and new construction on former farmland in Spokane Valley is often the highest-pressure situation, not the lowest.
